Eva and the Angel of Death // a Holocaust Remembrance Opera

ACC Drama Adjunct Faculty Member, Dr. Heather Barfield, is directing Eva and the Angel of Death // a Holocaust Remembrance Opera.

The composition by Thomas Yee is compelling. The story of Eva Mozes Kor is about survival, recovery, activism, and grace. She and her twin sister, Miriam, were liberated from Auschwitz-Birkenau after many months of cruel and deadly medical experiments conducted by Nazi doctor, Josef Mengele–nicknamed as the Angel of Death. After the war, Eva pursued a path to healing and reconciliation through her CANDLES Holocaust Museum and Education Center. Free. Tickets can be reserved at https://www.density512.org/tickets/eva.
